Representative cricket

As the our 2025 season emerges from the winter fixture planning, we want to celebrate the successes of Cambridge University cricketers and officials who have been successful in representative cricket over the past season.

Jono Arscott (Tonbridge & Magdalene) played for Chile in the 2024 South American Championships. He was man of the match against Uruguay when he scored 80 and took a stumping. The match between Chile and Peru, Jono faced the bowling of Tom Davies (Nottingham High & Downing) who opened the bowling for Peru.

William Clennell (Reading School & Corpus Christi) was selected to score the England versus West Indies Test Match at Lord’s in 2024. William worked his way through the scoring pathways during his time at Cambridge and still scores for us.

Tom Colverd (Haberdashers’ Aske’s Boys’ School, Elstree & Robinson) has been selected to represent Japan in the Asian Cricket Council Men’s Challenger Cup 2025.

Emma Jones (Felsted & Emmanuel) played for South East Stars in the 2024 Rachael Heyhoe-Flint Trophy and the Charlotte Edwards Cup.

Pippa Kelly (Fettes & Magdalene) has been playing for Scotland Women Under-19s in the 2025 ICC Women’s Under-19s T20 World Cup.

Hari Kukreja (King’s College, Auckland & St Edmund’s) has been playing in the Singapore squad in the ICC world Cup Challenge League Group B.

Stan Norman (Brighton College & Robinson) played for Jersey in the 2024 ICC World Challenge League Group A.

These follow recent representative selections: Connor Emerton (Parmitter’s & Jesus) selected for Hertfordshire, Ed Hyde (Tonbridge & Jesus) selected for Cambridgeshire and British Police, Harry Houillon (Sevenoaks & Fitzwilliam) for Kent, Paddy Sadler (Royal High School, Edinburgh & Churchill) for Suffolk, Ciara Boaden (Royal Grammar School, Newcastle & Queens’) Northumberland Women and Northern Diamonds, Nick Taylor (Perse & Clare) selected for Cambridgeshire and Issy Routledge (The Leys & Jesus) selected for Middlesex Women. When not scoring for CUCC, Helen Hyde continues to score around the country across the professional game.
