Tony Gibbs retires

Today is the last day for Tony Gibbs who has been an integral part of our team, scoring the for the UCCE since 2005 and regularly since 2009. In addition, Tony has scored prolifically in the region, primarily for Hertfordshire.

In sport, we sometimes hear players saying that the game is “all about the players”. How foolish and arrogant this is and Tony exemplifies how value can be added to a Club like ours, and the sport enriched, through skill, experience and true passion for all aspects of the game.

Thank you Tony: our Club and our game is most certainly not ‘all’ about the players.
