Representative colours

Two Cambridge University players picked up representative colours this summer.

Mike Carson (Reading School & Trinity Hall, 2010-2013) scored 84 for Scotland A in a three day game against MCC, starting on 14th August.  Mike, a Chemical Engineer, played regular Crusaders and Blues and played in the 2013 MCCU side.

Ed Hyde (Tonbridge School and currently an undergraduate at Jesus) played his first Minor Counties Championship match for Cambridgeshire against Suffolk, between September 2nd and 4th.  Ed is the first undergraduate to play Minor Counties Championship cricket since the Heath brothers, John and Duncan (Sir John Nelthorpe & Pembroke, 2002-2005), both of whom played for Lincolnshire whilst undergraduates in 2002.
