Four-day University Match at Fenner’s

We look forward to welcoming visitors to Fenner’s for the four-day University Match. Here are a few notes to help you plan your visit.

Access
The entrance to the ground is from Mortimer Road. www.cucc.net for directions.  The railway and bus stations are both walkable well within 10 minutes. The X5 bus from Oxford stops at Parkside, less than a 5 minute walk.

Parking
There is parking at Fenner’s via the Mortimer Road entrance, subject to availability. We will not be charging for entrance or parking at this match, but feel free to come to the pavilion to buy a scorecard – these will be updated overnight and on sale behind the bar.

  • The main car park is the tarmac area immediately through the gates.  Please do not park under the buildings.
  • Players and officials should drive through the tarmac car park, round the perimeter of the ground to the grass car park on the far side of the ground. Please avoid vehicle movements during play.

All vehicles are parked at the owner’s risk.

There is also a multi-storey car park next to Fenner’s on Queen Ann Terrace.

Refreshments
Refreshments will be available at Fenner’s all day.

Freshly made sandwiches, sausage rolls, toasties, cakes, tea and coffee etc will be available for purchase at the catering hatch in the pavilion, including the ever popular early-day bacon and sausage sandwiches.

The pavilion bar will we fully stocked and will open at 1200.

Use of the pavilion
The pavilion is open to CUCC and OUCC members and their guests. Non-members are very welcome in the pavilion to make purchases.
