Cuppers finals 2023

Gonville and Caius won a close final against St Edmund’s in glorious sunshine at Fenner’s yesterday.  Results as follows.

Semi-Final:  Gonville & Caius heart Downing by 4 wickets

Semi-Final: St Edmund’s beat trinity by 26 runs

Final: Gonville & Caius beat St Edmund’s by 2 runs

Than you to all the players who were a credit to their colleges, to Ben Whyall, Tom Laver and Chris Dean for umpiring and Helen Hyde and Tim Steele for scoring.  It was a great pleasure to see so many spectators relaxing in the sun.  all made possible by a cheerful grounds team.
